copy of rui post
While everyone else was off battling frost giants and retrieving god souls, Ash was busy cleaning up the Guild. One of the things he did was organize all of the information and notes and various other stuff that people left around. He’s compiled a book of the arrays that people have shared. On the front of the book is an Obscure array, to which Guild members have been given the password, with the expectation that they'll 'lock' it again when they're done using it. If the array isn't 'unlocked', everything inside appears as gibberish.
Please note, this is not a complete list of runic arrays known in Asgard. That can be found here. This is a list of the arrays that Guild members have discovered and made available to each other, for ease of player use. This means players must comment here making their runes available. Anything not in this post somewhere is not something that a character can be assumed to know.
Here's the information in the book:

Here's the information in the book:
( ![]() | Unclots blood and keeps it from clotting while the array is in effect. A wound would bleed until the array is deactivated. It could, however, potentially be used to dissolve a clot to stop a heart attack or thrombosis, if the location of the clot was known.
Encourages blood to clot quickly on an open wound. Only works in the area covered by the bandage, must be applied with extreme care so as to not cause accidental clotting not at the immediate injury site. This is not healing, it's a stopgap measure, much like applying superglue to a deep cut.
Enhances a user's hearing. While it won't enable a person to hear in dog-whistle frequencies, it does stop the filter on aural input, so they hear everything. It's possible that the user will become overwhelmed with sensory input. Only one sense-array can be used at a time.
Renders text into gibberish unless the array is deactivated with a code word. Anyone can deactivate the array if they know the code word. The code cannot be changed, the array has to be destroyed and redrawn. When the array is deactivated, anyone may read the text. Doesn't work on pictures.
Enhances the user's sense of smell. It's possible that the user will become overwhelmed with sensory input. Only one sense-array can be used at a time.
Objects placed inside the box are no longer subject to the effects of bacterial contamination, oxygenation or evaporation, eg. fruit won't spoil, metal won't rust, a glass of water won't evaporate. Heat/cold still affect the contents of the box. Anything living placed into the box will die. Objects are only protected while inside the container is closed.
Enhances the user's sense of taste, allowing them to discern very minute levels of difference in taste. This could be used to detect poisons or become a wine connoisseur for an hour. It's possible that the user will become overwhelmed with sensory input. Only one sense-array can be used at a time.
Enhances the user's sense of touch. Textures become very detailed and will probably provoke a synesthetic response--aka the user will perceive textures with an additional sense, such as taste or hearing. It's possible that the user will become overwhelmed with sensory input. This particular array is limited to an area around the writing. Only one sense-array can be used at a time.
( ![]() | Enemies/Characters/Monsters struck by a weapon with the array have a chance of becoming paralyzed temporarily. Inscribed on the weapon.
If a person is using an item with this array, rain will be warded away from them. Essentially, a force field will be put in place specifically made for rain.
A visual memory can be printed onto an object. The accuracy and vividness of the image is dependent on how clear the memory is. On a canvas or any blank paper product.
Tracks targets across an area. Needs to be placed on the person in question and on a map to show their current location.
Blocks all rune effects within the affected area. Area moves with the object the rune is placed on if mobile.
Gills begin to sprout from neck, making the user able to breath underwater.
Creates a large storage space inside small containers for easy travel. Placed on anything opaque that acts as a container/bag.
Detects if there are any living organisms within a space by forming a number count on the paper. Includes small animals but none tinier than a cat.
Light collects on the user's fingertips, allowing them to draw and write words in the air. Drawn on the back of user's hand.
Creates a thick mist with low visibility. Area affected depends on the amount of water used.
Garments affected by array automatically changes design & colors to fit in with the environment.
Increases the thickness of skin so that the user is less likely to take on internal damage. Must be applied to each body part that will be affected, user is a little slower and heavier than normal, user will become too itchy to continue using after 30 minutes.
When applied, the container will not break by physical means.
Helps a weapon cut through gusts of air so that user is unaffected by drag, arrows can fly against the wind. Written on the weapon.
Once the array is placed on a box with an item inside, the box becomes "locked" and immediately teleports to a random location. To open, the box must be broken. The effect on the box may make it glow or float (or both).
( ![]() | Changes the size of an object at the user's will. Written directly on object.
Creates hard to pop bubbles only can be popped two ways: by he user with something pointy, or if it gets too high. Bubbles can get as big as a small child and can lift objects that fit inside. Placed on the end of a wand.
Puts body into a complete stasis or suspended animation for a short period of time.
Creates harmless sparks of light in multitude of colors. It can be placed on any object prefer use on sticks or thin rods to make a sparkle wand.
Stores magical energy at a particular point and channels magical energy from point to point. This is a specialty array and can work in areas with very low magical energy. This array was used to reactivate Runic Magic in Asgard and can be found still painted all over the city.
A ball of light follows the user around. Color and size depends on the user. Dims over time.
measures the amount of magical energy in an area. It also picks up on how much grey is creeping into the area as well.
Changes the tone, pitch and over all sound of the user's voice. Placed on anything that goes around the neck.
Eraser the user's scent and replaces it with the user's general surroundings.

( ![]() | Keeps objects locked up tight. Works on anything that can be locked or shut.
